For a twelve week period under the supervision of a middle school art teacher, I taught art to seventh, eighth, and ninth graders. I taught all art classes on my own for a two week period. My teaching responsibilities included creating and carrying out lesson plans in many different art mediums, assessing student work, displaying finished art projects, participating in parent-teacher conferences and in faculty and staff meetings, supervising students during study hall, lunch periods and recess. 2001- 2002: Latin Dance Instructor. I have taught Beginner and Intermediate Latin dancing in Fairfield to adults as well as to university students through the Physical Education department at Maharishi University of Management 2000 - 2001 - Customer Educator and Customer Service Representative for Natural Health Technology in Fairfield, Iowa. Responsibilities in this position included shipping and receiving of products, educating customers on the use of spa equipment and products, delivering spa and clinic presentations at workshops, soliciting telephone sales, and editing company product literature. 1999- 2000 Designer and customer service representative at ArtSelect.com in Fairfield, Iowa. My responsibilities included designing mat and frame combinations for art prints and putting these combinations on the company internet website for customer shopping services. answering customer questions about prints, interior design, and home decorating inquiries, and taking and placing purchase orders. 1975-1985 Teacher of the Transcendental Meditation technique as taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Taught over 300 hundred people in Texas and in California.
