will understand the importance of certain
features to adapt to different environments (5 points).
Try to answer all questions

Homologous structures are the
basis of classical classification. The study of homology has been
limited to
the study of

Most
assignments, laboratory
works and projects or field works will be graded on a 4-point rubric
scale (James
Stallworth, 2002).
4 - exemplary (an excellent attempt was made, the work is passing and
displays
a mastery of the content area).
3 - adequate (a good attempt was made, the work is passing and
knowledge of the
content area is shown).
2 - minimal (an attempt was made, the work is passing, but the student
can do
better).
1 - inadequate (an attempt was made, but it was unacceptable).
0 - insufficient (no attempt).
Grading
is an important
issue to students because in addition to assessing the knowledge
acquired it is
also an indicator for passing from one grade level to the next. To
avoid the
controversy that might arise, I will provide immediate feed back and
support
after every assignment, quiz, test, project work, and exam. If a
student is in
doubt of his marking at the final stage, there is a chance to discuss
with me.
If the problem is not solved within my capacity, I will allow him or
her to
appeal for a third party (if there is a grade appeal committee or to
the
principal). The decision made at this level should be accepted by the
student.
