I married to Gorfua Zewdie in 1998 and now we have 3 daughters named Melat Girma and Hermela Girma and Tewabu Girma.

In Ethiopia, it is customory that one should have at least a reasonable income and a 'house' to get married and then guarantee the sustainability of the marriage. It does not mean those who do not fulfill the above requirements do not marry, but I am trying to indicate the general norm (cultural expectation). The male is expected at least to have a job to be accepted by the family of his fiance. A wedding cermony is a must and some times it is expensive leaving the unwise couples in debt. In this part of my portfolio, I  will present to you some photos from first dating to marriage, and the developments I made in family establishment.

Our 'official' first dating was celebrated in the city of Debrezeit 45 km away from the capital city, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
