Power Point Presentation In my student
teaching, I used a power point presentation from my cooperating teacher
to lecture on Plant Anatomy and Physiology for Advanced placement (AP)
students. Then I had the opportunity to
prepare power point presentations on 2 units, evolution and ecology,
both for grade 9 students in Woodson High School, Fairfax, Virginia.
This methood of teaching was used as a visual tool to present
theoretical concepts and figures.

For students to follow up and focus on the lectures, I prepared lecture guides and gave it to them. The lecture guide helps them to write down the missing information as I was lecturing. It encourages them to develop the habit of note taking. A sample of a lecture guide is linked (lecture guide) incase you need to look at it. The four chapters include:
