In this video show, students were introduced to the latest technology of studying ecosystems on earth. Remote sensing is an altrnative and quick  from of acquiring information on ecological data from satellites set for this purpose. Students were motivated to become ecologists and remote sensing could be one area of specialization if they are interested. It minimizes the field vists and makes data collection easier compared to the classical method of data collection. The latter demands ecologists to spend much of their time out in the field.
