Art Folder
Lesson
This video is a sample of a mixed media lesson that I
taught to eighth grade students. The goal of the lesson was
to give students the opportunity to experiment with the
elements of design using graphic design elements,
perspective and printing.
Objectives
- create a storage folder for their art work
- draw out the words "Art" and their name using two
point perspective on the front of the folder
- add color
- use of texture and pattern anywhere in the overall
design(optional)
- print a design with colored markers in the four
corners using the printing stamp from the previous
printing project
- invite other students to print their stamp and sign
the back side of each others folder
- fill out a self evaluation form
